Records take 10 minutes for a $2.90 single-clean using Audio Desk or Klaudio, or 20 minutes for a $5.00 double-clean using both machines. New MoFi sleeve included. First come, first served. Special offer for new customers: "Try It Out" and get 20% off your first 9 records!
Don't forget you can leave records at the store any time they are open. When there are enough records waiting, I will pick-up at the store, clean them at home in my music room, and return them at my next monthly visit. I can pick-up large local batches - Ask me!

November 2015 - Record Genie adds Record Flattening Service!
I'm excited to finally add a Furutech DF-2 record flattening machine to the equipment I use to care for your records!
These machines retail for $2800, but after buying Vinyl Flat plates last year and being disappointed with the results using their heating pouch, I knew a professional machine was required to give the best results.
Flattening takes 3.5 hours per record (1.5 hours to heat up, and 2 hours to cool down) and I've found on some "test records" of mine that the process may need to be repeated a second time, but results have been excellent, even on some severe warps! Some records cannot be flattened (Eg: heat damaged, Sheffield Labs, lightweight under 110g etc) so please contact me for details before you send records to me.
Flattening Service costs $20.00 per record (plus postage if required). That includes a $5.00 Double-Cleaning) and is for 12" vinyl records only. Obviously this only makes sense for records worth more than the cost of flattening, but if a warp or dish is not significantly reduced by the process, then I will only charge you $5 for the double-cleaning.
